This clock was created by recording an individual painting the time in real-time! The artist is situated inside your smartphone with a palette of colors, manually altering the digits on a retro digital clock.

The "Analog Digital" application is the latest addition to the "Real Time" series by Dutch designer Maarten Baas. His creations intersect the realms of art, design, theater, and performance. The anonymous digital clock transforms into a live performance as every minute is meticulously hand-painted by a concealed individual "within" the clock.

Real Time made waves in the design sphere, garnering numerous international design accolades. While other clocks in the series are exclusive limited editions housed in museums and private collections globally, the Analog Digital app is now attainable at your fingertips! Some enthusiasts even purchase an iPod solely to hang it on the wall as a dedicated platform for this unique clock :-)

<li>Option to deactivate the iPhone screen-lock to keep the clock running continuously.</li>

<li>A 12-hour clock format is chosen to be considerate towards the actor not having to work round the clock!</li>
<li>The standard iPhone alarm function can be set and operates even when using the app. Please note, this clock itself does not feature an alarm, as an "app alarm" only functions when the app is active, whereas the iPhone alarm works irrespective of any active applications.</li>
<li>You can enjoy your iTunes music collection playing in the background while using the app.</li>
<li>The time displayed remains accurate; instantly upon opening the app and over prolonged running periods.</li>
<li>The clock's essence lies in reimagining how time is perceived. The creation of digits takes time itself. As a result, there are instances where certain numbers are still being painted - allowing you to witness time being crafted "while-u-wait!"</li>
<li>Compatible with all models of iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.</li>
